World Renowned Calligrapher, Charles Pearce
Visit to New Zealand October / November 2009
A Fellow of the Society of Scribes and Illuminators in London,
the most prestigious award available to calligraphers. He
moved from the UK to New York and was there granted Artist-in-residence
status by that city. He now Lives in Eureka Springs, in the
Ozark Mountains region of Arkansas. Where he teaches and holds
workshops.

The Auckland Wednesday Night Group.
The Wednesday Night Group usually meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday
of each month. Everyone from beginner to expert is welcome to
join in.

The library
The library is housed at the Mt Albert Community
Centre. It is available to members on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesday
of the month, between 7 and 9pm from February to December.

Waikato Group
Did you know there is an active calligraphy group in
the Waikato?
The Waikato Group meet on the fourth Saturday of each month from
10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. at Matamata.
The cost is $5.00 per workshop.
