The Wednesday Night Calligraphy Group

The group meets between 7 and 9pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at the Mt Albert Community Centre,
773 New North Road, Mt Albert. (see below for the dates)

EVERYONE is welcome from beginner to expert.

There is a meeting fee is $5.

For the first 15 - 20 minutes we warm up by making calligraphic marks on paper to music. The results are very interesting. This gives us a great opportunity to share and is a fantastic warm up before starting on any project.

Remember to bring your usual calligraphy equipment with you.

From the Cupboard

We have box of old library cards that can be used for all sorts from backgrounds, practice pieces, making notes, bookends and collage. Please come along to a Wednesday meeting and help yourself, they are free.
